Reception and Download

We have established fishing and fresh fish purchasing centers in most of the fishing ports on the Ecuadorian coast, including Anconcito, Santa Rosa, Pto. López, San Mateo, Manta, Jaramijó, Esmeraldas and Puerto Bolívar. All handling of fresh fish is professionally managed to avoid any damage or thermal stress, keeping the product on ice at 0°C and in thermally insulated containers throughout the collection process. The fresh fish is then transported to the processing plant in thermally insulated trucks.

Selection and Classification

The processing plant works under a Good Manufacturing Practices plan. All processing areas are well supervised and always kept in the best possible sanitized condition. CORPIEX staff uses state-of-the-art equipment designed for the different processes and types of products required by our clients (Whole, Gutted Whole, HG, Fillets, Portions, All Fresh or Frozen). Shrimp has a maximum temperature of 2°C before being packaged.

Storage and Shipping

Storage and Shipping Products are packaged in waxed cardboard boxes, internally covered with high-density polystyrene, with plastic film liners and gel packs to maintain the low temperature of the product. The finished product is stored in cold rooms until loaded for transportation. We work with top-tier shipping companies to avoid damage and delays, a critical step before the product reaches our customers' hands. We are certified by the European Community to export its products to all EEC markets.

We apply our knowledge and efforts in the fish industry, tuning in to market situations at all times. We communicate with our suppliers, colleagues and clients daily, which allows us to be specialists in our field. In this way, we believe that we are an efficient and significant company in the Fishing sector.
